Another Saturday to work on projects for friends and fans…

I’ve been making art my entire life, and it’s fun to make what you enjoy and even turn it into a profitable hobby. Never give up on your talents… Do you have questions, comments, or suggestions? Contact me!

FAQ:

Which polymer clay do you use? I prefer Apoxie Sculpt, with working time of about 30 minutes which hardens into a durable, surface capable of holding a polish. My technique is to layer on the clay in separate sessions. You’d be surprised how long I can work with a marble-sized piece of clay… Clay sculpting tools: silicone rubber clay shapers; but at times I may be using a pin or a toothpick…

Which paints do you use? Since I’m primarily casting in a urethane rubber I always recommend using an acrylic primer before painting. After that, I prefer acrylics, namely my own collection of old model paints from Ral Partha and replacements with Citadel and Vallejo paints. Spendy, yes but the quality is a must. Paint brush preferred size: 000.
